EGLN09 The Knoll

Eastwood Landcare Group began this project on The Knoll in April 2017 with an integrated management approach to manage weeds and revegetate the area which is a registered site of significance to our Traditional Owners. Working with many partners including, the East Gippsland Shire Council, the GunaiKurnai Land & Waters Aboriginal Corporation and East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority, our volunteers and members of the community have established a site with diverse vegetation and habitat for wildlife. The area is widely utilised and valued by the community and is a true testament to the hard work of everyone involved in the making the site what you see today.
