EGLN02 Jirrah

Starting work in late 2021, the Raymond Island Landcare Group have planted over 19,000 seedlings on this 8 hectare site named Jirrah Corner. Jirrah is the aboriginal word for 'Kangaroo'. Working closely with the Gunaikurnai Rangers, the Group are dedicated to developng, revegetating and maintaining areas of Raymond Island to preserve the special environmental elements of this Island for generations to come.
