SC1 Poets Walk Swifts Creek
The Poets Walk is a 1.2kms walking trail on the banks of the Tambo River and Swifts Creek. It features a series of stone cairns inscribed with poetry by the late John Butler, plantings of native vegetation and rest areas.
The inaccessible, weed infested area began its rejuvenation in 2018 and is now used by many locals and visitors, as well as artists from the Great Alpine Gallery in Swifts Creek. Platypus DNA samples are done here, water bug sampling and other environmental projects.
